As a Filipino domestic worker in Hong Kong, far from my family and working tirelessly each day, the Bible is my anchor and daily source of strength. Living in this fast-paced, demanding city often feels overwhelming, but opening God’s Word brings deep peace to my weary heart. Reading the scriptures reminds me that I am never alone, filling me with hope, patience, and love even during difficult times. The Bible guides my daily actions, comforts me during quiet moments of homesickness, and lifts my spirit. It keeps my faith alive, inspiring me to serve with joy, humility, and purpose every single day.
No matter how heavy our burdens may feel, let us hold fast to his promises and draw strength from his love, knowing that through every challenge, God walks beside us and brightens our path.
