
HONG KONG (SE): Following on from Art Basel and Art Central, St. Paul’s Convent School, Causeway Bay, unveiled its much-anticipated art exhibition titled, “Threads of Our Heritage–Art of Every Path”, another highlight of its 170th Anniversary celebration which ran from April 7 to 21. Nestled within the enchanting ambiance of the school’s Centenary Garden, it showcased the rich tapestry of the artistic legacy that has flourished within the heart of the school community across generations.
In a collaboration with distinguished Paulinian alumni, the inter-generational exhibition showcased an array of creativity—with both past and present students expressed their unique voices and visions through an fusion of evolving media and forms including an array of paintings, intricate models, and captivating sculptures.
The event sought to honour the nurturing environment that inspired artistic talent over the years but also celebrated a legacy of innovation that continues to inspire.
Classrooms were turned into a dynamic tapestry of creativity, weaving together stories and experiences across three interconnected rooms. Established artists showcased their works next to the fresh perspectives of emerging student talents—highlighting the value of mentorship, illuminating the vital importance of community and shared artistic endeavour in this sanctuary of growth and learning.
Visitors were able to participate in a forum titled, “What’s Next – Hong Kong’s Art & Cultural Landscape”, try out their creative potential through the Stencil Keychain Workshops, or embark on guided Docent Tours designed to spark inspiration and dialogue within the community.
