I believe that by speaking positively and making a person feel comfortable in any kind of situation, showing our own perspective with humility to promote unity and good relationship with one another, we can help influence others to draw closer to Our Lord.
The phrase “God has used you” is an individual’s belief that their actions are part of a larger divine plan. So my faith has led me to influence other people to deepen their faith in God.

I once supported a friend through a difficult time by simply listening and encouraging her to carry on. They later told me that my words gave them the strength they needed to carry on. It reminded me how small acts of kindness can make a big difference and I thank God for using me as his instrument to influence others for the glory of his name.

With strong faith and belief in God, we can express ourselves deeply in a way that comes naturally and can be accepted by the other person. I strongly believe that the success that someone achieves is through perseverance and dedication with lots of prayers to God. With confidence and spreading humility and compassion through my actions, I am able to have a positive influence on someone’s life. I pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit to help me be God’s instrument, especially with those who ask for spiritual guidance. I pray for the right words to say and the right answers to give when talking to someone who is feeling down and hopeless.

Don’t let the chain of God’s love stop on you. Helping others doesn’t depend on one’s status in life and literally doesn’t depend on the financial factor. A small act of kindness makes a big difference in one’s life. While dealing with my own personal problems, I do small charity work every year for those less fortunate students in my alma mater who can hardly afford to buy their school supplies needed for their studies. I ask for help from my friends who share some of their blessings with me. And it’s an honour to show their kindness and generosity. So far, many of my friends have supported me in my charity work. It shows that God is using me to influence others in a positive way. It’s my way of repaying God’s kindness to me and my family. He has blessed me with good people who have helped us to overcome problems due to the hardships of life before, when we couldn’t afford it yet. To God be the glory and thanksgiving.

I have been able to influence other people’s lives by sharing inspirational messages or sermons from priests with friends and family members for their inspiration and reflection. I shared with them how these messages touched my life to be the person I have become.

By God’s grace, the Lord is using me through my job as a basketball referee. Before I became a Christian, I lived a very ordinary life, I lived in sin. But when I became a believer, everything changed. People in the basketball community started to recognise me as a believer. I began to encourage them to come to Sunday services. They ask me to do the opening prayer every time we have a basketball event. One of them asked me to pray for her sick relative. After our game last season, there was a celebration and they didn’t even feel like drinking alcohol. I believe that these people in this community now have a desire to be better, and I’m praying that one day they will accept Jesus as I share more about him.
