My joy overflows, the reason unknown to me,
In the face of challenges, why so happy I be?
Though muscles ache and sweat runs dry,
Perhaps by exerting physical effort without a care to sigh.
In my wildest dreams, I never imagined living this life,
Working diligently, bowing to heaven without strife.
Gathering people to share the journey I’ve been through,
Inspiring them with my words, a surprise I never knew.
I waltz to life’s symphony, immersed in its ecstasy,
Grateful for the divine purpose I now embrace eagerly.
This present life shines brightly against the shadow of the past,
Where once I felt broken, unsure if my strength would last.
It is tough not to feel joy when I see the path ahead,
Looking back on my tough journey, unsure where it led.
Pushing through challenges, striving for success,
Prioritizing divine growth over material excess.
Now I understand why this morning brings me such joy,
I refuse to cling to negativity that may try to deploy.
The next challenge that awaits doesn’t cause me concern,
For I trust that God’s guidance will lead me, I learn.
