HONG KONG (SE): Sister Sandra Maggiolo, the Mother General of the Daughters of Charity of the Canossian Institute, announced the new Provincial Council [2024-2027] on February 2, in Rome.
Members of the new council are: Sister Virginia Wong Pui-ling, provincial superior; Sister Louise Lam Yuk-sin, vice-provincial; and Sister Rita Chung Sau-kuen and Sister Veronica Fok Wai-man, councillors.
The installation ceremony took place on March 2 with a paraliturgy at the Canossian Missions Chapel, Caine Road.
Sister Wong thanked the sisters for their trust and support and she asked all to build communities with participative authority and collaborative obedience.
She also gave thanks to the outgoing provincial councillor, Sister Lucia Cheung, for her dedicated service. Sister Cheung will continue to serve in the various ministries to make Jesus known and loved.
