I have experienced being in a spiritual desert especially when several problems come altogether at one time. I feel troubled, exhausted and I did not know what to do relying only on myself and I started to over think and over react on the situations.
Now being a renewed Christian and a member of the Charismatic community, whenever I experience being in a spiritual desert I always pray and ask for the Holy Spirit to fill me with his holy presence and guide me in all my daily undertakings. Listening to praise and worship songs and try to feel and absorb every word in it help me lift my spirit up and I can feel God’s comfort as if he is talking and embracing me.
As it says in James 4:8 “Draw close to God and He will draw close to you”
