Motherhood is the best gift that God has bestowed on me. It is not easy but a gratifying task. All the pain and suffering that I endured from conception to giving birth vanished as I saw my child for the first time. I can’t explain the joy and happiness that goes with it.
Being a mother of two beautiful daughters is a great blessing for me. Though I became a widow when my youngest was just one year old, and my eldest was eight years old, I fought to survive for my kids. It is not easy to become a mother and a father simultaneously, but I did it with flying colours with the help of God. My eldest is 38, and my youngest is 31, both married with two children each. My eldest daughter works as an assistant administrator in a bank, and the second operates her own business.
For all of these, I could say that I wouldn’t be able to do it without God’s help and guidance. I owe it all to him. All my praises and thanksgiving be unto my God and Saviour.
