I am not really worried about my family. If we all follow the rules set by the government and the Department of Health, we can minimise the chance of contracting the virus. I think often it is going out in crowded places, not wearing masks and most of all not practising cleanliness that gets a person catch the virus. This is why when I chat with my family I need to ask how they are doing and if they are observing the guidelines set up by the government. In addition to the precautionary measures, we must not forget to pray too. Prayers are important and can be our weapons against all these sufferings the world is facing today.
Death is inevitable. I believe if it is your time then it is your time with or without the pandemic.

I am pretty sure that every human being in this world is worried that they might get infected by the virus and I’m so worried for my loved ones specially being far from them. All I have to do is advice them not to stay outside if it is not necessary and do all the preventions. I need to give then a call every day to check on them and provide what they need. I’m so worried because my children are still at the age that I know would still need my presence during this kind of situation. At the moment the best thing to do is to soak ourselves in prayer. God is the only one who can help us surpass this pandemic. May the Lord heal the world.

Nope! I am not worried because I believe in the power of God that whoever trust and believe in him will be saved. Of course it is understood that they need to do their part and avoid the circumstances that may endanger them from catching the virus. While we have a strong faith in God, we too need to do our part. I tell my family to avoid exposing themselves in public specially in crowded places. Remind them of cleanliness not only bodily but also their surroundings.

Yes I am very worried about the situation of my family in the Phillippines because of this corona virus now spreading so fast around the world. I am scared that any of my family can be infected. The only help I can share to them is to keep reminding them to cooperate with the government’s rule in staying at home, avoid crowded places and not to forget to wear a mask when they leave the house. In this way not only can they avoid being contaminated but also help in reducing the burden of our frontliners by keeping themselves in good health. I also remind them to be aware of their personal hygiene and maintain the cleanliness of the house. Most of all I pray for them. I leave everything to God’s mercy while I am far away from them.

As a daughter and sister, I’m always worried that my family might get infected with the virus. I pray always to God for their protection and guidance. What I do is to advise them about proper hygiene. I keep myself updated with the news and information of the world health crisis and then let them know about the latest situations.

I am worried about the safety of my family with this Covid 19 pandemic. For the safety of my family, I did not return home even if my contract is finished. I am blessed to have found a new employer. Going home is not easy and I do not want to put my family’s health at risk. All I can do is to send them financial assistance, remind them to do the preventive measures, and ask them to pray.

When I heard how the virus spread rapidly in the Philippines, my initial reaction was to worry. I was afraid that my family might get infected. My youngest child is just nine-years-old and my parents are 71 and 77 so their immune system is not as strong as the others. I have some sleepless nights and my mind was occupied by a lot of what-ifs. But then I woke up one day realising I don’t have to worry and I just need to lift it up to the Lord our God and trust his plans. Now I focus on how I can be of help. We usually have a joint prayer before bed time online. I asked my husband to buy them vitamins to boost their immune systems, eat more nutritious foods and avoid close contacts with others for the moment. I ask my parents to do the same.
