With what is happening around the world today specially this Lenten season, in my heart is an image of Jesus on the Cross. The image of God bleeding on the Cross with tears on his eyes, his sad face as he sees the people suffering and dying because of the pandemic.
For me, God is my guidance councillor for he leads me to the path to real happiness and joy. He is my hope and my light. There were times I face deep problems in life but because I have God within me who is so loving, who answers to my prayers and never gives up on me, I did not give up nor lose hope. He is my light. Everytime I feel I am inside a dark tunnel and feeling blind, he is there to light my path. He never abandons me. I always cling to God because at the end of the day only God can save us.

The image of God in my heart is like a mother who is willing to sacrifice for her children by guiding them towards the right path, protecting them, understanding their feelings, showing love and care for them; who is ready to listen to them, forgiving, merciful and compassionate to all children.
Who is God to me? For me God is love — because of his love for us, he saves us from our sins. Praise and glory to God who overcomes death.

God for me is unexplainable, unpredictable and invisible but I can feel him in my heart. He has made many miracles in my life, and he is my ultimate rescuer because he never fails to answer my prayers. I am miles away from my family and it is really hard to be alone. Most of the time here in Hong Kong, when I need someone to talk to, God is always near and he will never look down on me. I have never seen God with my naked eyes, but I feel his strong presence within me. He is here. He knows when I am upset, hears the cries of my heart and sees me when I am happy. That is God to me.

God for me is a miracle worker, way maker, promise keeper and light in the darkness. He can make straight a crooked path and he makes way for me to be near him.
