During Lent, it is important to cultivate an attitude of gratitude for the blessings in our lives, recognising and appreciating the good things that we may take for granted. It is also a time to reflect on how much our Lord suffered to redeem us. It is sad to think that some of us only remember his sufferings during Lent, but forget the message behind.
By practicing the virtues of humility, repentance, and forgiveness to those who have hurt us, and by asking forgiveness for the hurts we have caused others, we can strive to become a better version of ourselves, rooted in love, kindness, and a deeper connection to our spiritual path.
