As the situation of the pandemic differs from place to place in Hong Kong, more serious in some areas and less in other cases, Bishop Stephen Chow, SJ, is asking Parish Priest to decide, taking to account the actual circumstances and after due consultation (for instance, after hearing the Parish Pastoral Council), whether or not it is appropriate to suspend the Eucharistic adoration and there Rite of Holy Communion outside Mass held on weekdays or Sundays in view of the pandemic.
