HONG KONG (SE): The Hong Kong Polytechnic University announced on February 11, that its researchers had developed a machine that could detect 40 pathogens that cause respiratory diseases, including the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19, formerly Novel coronavirus 2019), Swith just a single test and results available in an hour.
The 28 viral pathogens can be detected along with 12 types of bacteria which cause diseases such as whooping cough and Legionnaires’ disease.
