My father, my hero

My father, my hero

A father holds his daughter’s hand for a short while but he holds her heart forever —Anonymous

My father, my hero
He would never say no
His word is my guide
As he taught me to abide.

Day after day he encouraged me
‘No need to worry and let it be’
He showed me the right way
So that I would not go astray

How busy was my hero
As he was always on the go
My father was my inspiration
And showed me how to reach my destination.

No one is greater than my hero
He is my world, my only amigo
His love is great and everlasting
For his daughter and his darling.

It is amazing to remember him
His love is overflowing to the brim
How I wish to be like my father
as I put him in my heart forever.
