Mama Mary is the epitome of great humility and goodness, and she is a mother of us all, who loves us unconditionally. Since Jesus is very obedient to her because he loves her so much, we can be sure that Mama Mary’s intercession will be very effective and will be answered. So for me, I would not hesitate to ask for the intercession of Mama Mary whenever I have petitions that need answers because I believe in my heart that the intercession of Mama Mary is effective.

When I pray to Our Lady I would feel warm and relieved, although I don’t know if all my prayers will be answered, but I believe and have faith that it will be because some of what I prayed for has been answered. I prayed for good health and blessings for me and my family and for good things to come our way and they were answered through her intercession. I always ask for the intercession of Our Lady. If we can ask other people to pray for us, why can’t we ask Mama Mary, who is perfectly united with Christ in heaven, to intercede for us? I can pray directly to God for everything, but I go to Mama Mary because Jesus loves her so much and he always listens to her, like in the case of the wedding at Cana, which seems to be a small or insignificant thing, but Jesus obeyed his mother and did something (John 2:3) and the miracle happened. Mama Mary’s intercessory role comes from her unique relationship with Jesus.

Saints, churches or priests, they are not God, but they become a bridge to bring us closer to God, so why don’t we do the same with the Virgin Mary who is in heaven? She is the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ and our greatest intercessor. We also have saints to whom we can ask for intercession. They are chosen to intervene in our lives and to be the way for us to get closer to our Lord, because like me and like everyone else, our Lord is worshipped and believed in.
