Raymond Amaku comes from Nigeria. He is jobless since the bars closed due to the pandemic of Covid~19 Coronavirus.
He has a wife, Allison and a son, Destiny, a 15-year-old form three student.
I once recommended Raymond to work in the game centre with me so he helped us there from 4.30pm till 2.00 am that day. Then his wife worried about the traffic home at that late time. So when Raymond finished work, our boss, Mr. Lau, told him to wait for five minutes. Then he gave Raymond $400 as his wage that day and drove him back home.
Mr. Lau told Raymond to learn more Cantonese expressions in two months so as to help him communicate at the game centre, and then that he would give him the job.
I’m sure that Raymond can get the job within two months for he can already communicate a bit in Cantonese. His son can speak Cantonese well. Like Son, like Father.
What a great boss at the game centre! I hope there are more kind employers like him.
