• Donations of HK$5,000 or above will receive one year of the hard copy of the Sunday Examiner
• If you choose to donate by cheque or bank deposit, please return the completed donation form together with a crossed cheque or deposit slip to the Sunday Examiner.
• If you choose to donate by PayPal, the newspaper will contact the donor by email to arrange payment after receiving their Donation Form.
• Donations of HK$100 or more will receive a donation receipt for tax deduction purposes.
• The above information will only be used to process donations and issuing donation receipts.

FAQ

1. Can donations be tax-refunded?
   Yes. The Sunday Examiner is an accredited charitable organisation. According to the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Ordinance, as long as you donate HK$100 or more each time, we will issue a receipt for the donor to apply for tax deduction. 
   
2. When will the receipt be issued after the donation?
   After the donation is successfully credited, a receipt will be sent within seven working days. Please provide the correct donor name and mailing address when donating. 
   
3. Does the name listed on the donation receipt need to be the same as the donor’s name?
   It doesn’t need to be the same. If the name on the receipt is different from the donor, please specify.
   
4. Are monthly receipts issued for monthly donations?
   Yes. To protect the environment, donors can choose to receive a receipt once a year [sent back at the end of March each year].
   
5. Do I have to send back the original copy of the input paper?
   No. You can email the deposit slip to: donation@kkp.org.hk or WhatsApp to 5961 3640
   
6. How does Sunday Examiner handle the personal data I provide?
   In accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, we endeavour to ensure that the personal data of donors is kept confidential. We will never disclose any personal data without the consent of the donor, and “destroy” the information within one month of donations stopping.
   
7. What if I have trouble making a donation?
