Time is a gift from God

Time is a gift from God

My times are in your hands, deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me”(Psalm 31:15). God’s Word reminds us to use our precious time wisely and according to his divine will because only he knows the things in life that distract us from what truly matters. We must remember not to waste our time so that when we look back we will not regret.

Every moment we spend is so valuable for us, but sometimes we abuse it, thinking that there is always a next chance to better use our time.

We must prioritise our spiritual needs and the need to bond with our family, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic as we are still living and struggling in the third year now. In the past two years, the burden of our everyday lives could be too heavy. One reason is that we are disconnected from our family members or loved ones. Even our own relationship with our Almighty God and Heavenly Father was affected.

Let’s forget about the distracting information in the media, or other burdens of life. From now on, let us set aside some amount of time to have a better relationship  with our family members, friends and, above all, with God. Let’s plan for a special time to pray before the throne of God’s grace where we can ask for his mercy, forgiveness, healing and love.

Among frustrations, let’s wait for God’s divine plan, which requires patience, humility and faith. Waiting is really a hard thing to do but the good fruits of waiting at the end are joy, love, harmony, success and peace.
