Lord sometimes it’s just too hard
Just sometimes we need a break
Lord sometimes the cross is heavy
It’s heavy upon our back.
Always Lord we need your help
But sometimes when things are tough
We could use some extra relief
On days when we’ve had enough.
Just sometimes Lord we feel like giving up
But not today, because you are near,
And so for now we’ll keep pushing forward
Because your love outweighs the fear.
Lord sometimes we forget to thank you
To praise you for all your blessings.
Lord sometimes we are remiss
Forgive us Lord for the graces we resist.
