It is natural for us human beings to grow old and lose our youthful features. As numbers add to our ages, so do the numbers of wrinkles in our skin. There is no doubt that when we age, our appearance changes so people around us would know we grow old. But aging on the outside does not really mean anything significant, as we can control and manipulate our minds. We are capable of preserving our youthful heart, remaining energetic and hopeful.
We often hear people say that “What we think is what we become.” Maintaining our positive thoughts, creating a happy and good relationship with other people and having an optimistic outlook on life is what keep our mind younger. No matter what age we are at, we should see hope and have determination to reach our goals.
Also what make us feel bad about aging is our weaker health and the difficulty in maintaining the same level of physical strength as before.
We should always remember that our emotions are being directed by our attitudes on life. If our minds are burdened by negative thoughts and easily get impatient, sad, lonely, in grief, angry or hating, we feel having a heavy heart. This negative emotions truly affect your spirits, health and set limits on many possiblities.
We cannot defy the natural process of aging but everyone can always be young at heart.
