HONG KONG (SE): The Covid 19 coronavirus did not dampen the spirit of the English-speaking community at St. Jude’s as the parish celebrated its 66th anniversary and the 60th sacerdotal anniversary of its spiritual director, Maryknoll Father Vincent Corbelli, on October 26.
The event held inside the parish hall was themed, Mission to love and bring hope. Six pastoral groups worked together for this eventful day: the Catechist Group, Mission Team, Cafeteria Group, Dance Group, PM Money Collector Group and the St. Jude’s Filipino Catholic Group.
Father Corbelli celebrated a thanksgiving Mass at 11.00am and thanked the parish community for joining with him on the diamond jubilee of his priestly ordination.
Games and dance performances brightened up the day. At the end of the party, the community showed its love for the spiritual director with the song Think About His Love.
