A Christmas wish across the sea

A Christmas wish across the sea

In Hong Kong’s glow, the lights twinkle bright,
Yet my heart longs for home, a familiar sight.
Oh, my family, so dear, miles away,
Wishing you joy on this blessed day.

The church bells ring, their echoes so sweet,
I remember our laughter, our Christmas feast.
With each candle lit, I send up a prayer,
For your health and your happiness, I truly care.

Though the distance is wide, my love travels far,
Through the bustling streets, beneath the same star.
May your lives be filled with blessings anew,
With faith and with hope, in all that you do.

As I gaze at the lights, my heart feels the ache,
Missing your warmth, the hugs that we make.
Yet I hold you close, in dreams every night,
Together in spirit, love’s guiding light.

So here’s my wish, across oceans so wide,
May peace find you always,
with love as your guide.

Happy Christmas, dear family, though miles
keep us apart,
You’re forever beside me,
right here in my heart.
