I am saddened by the passing of our Holy Father, for he will not be with us physically, nor will we hear his voice again. I find peace and comfort in knowing that he is now in heaven and finally at home.
Pope Francis touched so many lives through his humility, compassion, life’s work, words and deeds. He showed us by his humble example that we should always choose love and kindness over hatred, not to judge or burden our neighbors, but to be merciful. To help the poor and marginalised in our society and to be a beacon of peace and hope. He encouraged our leaders to build bridges, not walls, and to choose dialogue to achieve peace. He was an advocate for migrants and always showed his concern for our environment.
May his great example continue to inspire us to be better people by being humble, merciful, loving and compassionate, and perhaps one day our world will be a much better place.
