Decree: Amalgamation of Our Lady Queen Of Angels Parish with Holy Family Parish
After due consultation with all interested parties (cf. Canon 515§2) and taking into consideration the spiritual wellbeing of the faithful as well as public transport network, I hereby decree that Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish, which is made up of the Catholic faithful residing in Shun Lee Estate, Shun On Estate and Shun Chi Court, is to be amalgamated with Holy Family Parish, currently comprising the Catholic faithful residing in Choi Hung Estate. The boundaries of the enlarged Holy Family Parish are as follows —
East: Sau Mau Ping Road to On Sau Road.
South: Prince Edward West, Kwun Tong Road, New Clear Water Bay Road, Shun Lee Estate Road and Sau Mau Ping Road.
West: Po Kong Village Road, Choi Hung Road and Sze Mei Street
North: Lung Cheung Road, Hammer Hill Road, Fung Shing Street and New Clear Water Bay Road.
The amalgamation took effect from 1 January 2025 retroactively.
The Mass Centre at Shun Lee Catholic Secondary School will continue to function, with a regular Mass in Cantonese at 10:30 am every Sunday. The former parish office of Our Lady Queen of Angels Parish will continue to serve the faithful residing in Shun Lee Estate, Shun On Estate and Shun Chi Court until further notice.
