It is not only disasters, pandemics and catastrophes that people have had to deal with. Such adversities can leave many people feeling dismayed and with a rather gloomy outlook on life. In good times and bad, in successes and failures, we should be thankful to God and praise him, as Job did, even though he lost everything – his children, his possessions and his health. He never blamed God, but praised his name. So we should put our trust in God and let our faith grow deeper. Pray regularly, be with people who have deep faith. Most importantly, we must hold on to the truth. Remember that God knows everything about you and me and nothing can be hidden from him.

By setting better goals, such as goals for success in all aspects of life, especially ourselves and for our loved ones. We should do our best to achieve these goals for the betterment of all. Doing so will strengthen our conviction to have continuous growth with God and our family.

Despite all the cicumstances and hardships in our lives, I believe that in the end the amount of faith we have is the key for us to continue our journey. I can say that my experiences and mistakes are the foundation of the life. It does not make me weak, but it makes me more courageous and it makes my faith stronger with the help of the Lord. I always remind myself that whenever I face obstacles, I should hold on to the Lord with my faith instead of questioning him. With the faith I have, I can do things I didn’t know I was capable of, like forgiving people with the Lord’s help. In this way I can continue to live every day with a pure heart and soul.

As an overseas worker, maybe I can say that my deeper courage to stand up in life is my belief in the Lord, that even though I’m far away from my family, all my decisions in life are with him. Secondly, my family is my strength so that I can gain courage to face life, even when life is difficult. As long as I know that they are there and that love is there, I can say that I will be brave and will get up early every day because of those I love in life.

I believe that courage is something we discover about ourselves, starting when we are children. It has to do with your family and how you are brought up. I found my own courage by myself when I was 10 years old. Because my complete trust is in the Lord, to whom I have committed my life, I have been able to draw strength from his promise.

Knowing who we are and accepting who we are, through good times and bad, gives us the courage to live the life we believe in. It is important to take small steps in spite of uncertainties and worries and then to have it all worked out. I believe acknowledging doubt but choosing to act anyway is the seed of courage. We can stay grounded by surrounding ourselves with encouraging people and reflecting on our past courage. Living out the truth ultimately gives lives meaning and strength, even when it is difficult.

To live authentically and courageously, one must first understand one’s own values, beliefs and passions. It is important to embrace fear, build resilience, seek support and consistently align actions with beliefs. In this way, individuals can develop the courage to live according to their faith, even in the face of challenges.
