The Office of Social Communication of the Federation of Asian Bishops’ Conferences [FABC-OSC], inaugurated a new website called synodalityasia at an online event on August 9, according to a press release.
Launched by Sebastian Cardinal Francis, chairperson of the FABC-OSC, the new website, developed and maintained by the Office of Social Communication, will be a one point stop for all synod-related information in the Asian context. Major features include vernacular language translations of documents, commentaries platforms to share Asian voices on Synodality, the press release said.
The FABC-OSC has been working closely with the Synod secretariat in the Vatican and the Asian bishops’ conferences and OSCs. It has organised workshops to translate synod documents into Asian languages and set up a team of volunteers to promote synodality through social media.
