HONG KONG (SE): The Diocesan Pastoral Sisters’ Association arranged a spiritual retreat themed “Strengthening the Spirit and the Role of Pastoral Care” at the Diocesan Retreat House from June 19 to 20.
The camp was a unifying experience for all the participants, reinforcing the value of community and actively practising the gospel values. It also strengthened connections and built closer relationships among the sisters.
Father Ferdinand Bouckhout cicm delivered a talk stressing that love is a central aspect of God and that prayer serves as a way to establish a connection with this love. He urged those in pastoral roles to draw inspiration from the teachings of Jesus by being brave and fearless, promoting and nurturing unity, and interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
The association meets every two months, providing opportunities for members to gather in different parishes and participate in external activities.
