As a person who serves in the Church, I can be a witness of Christ to others with my strong faith in God. I can help spread the good news and goodness of God to others. With my life experiences, I can share with others, especially those who are in trouble, that through my faith and unceasing prayers, I have been able to face life’s difficulties. I can share the mercy and love of our Lord and achieve my aspirations in life. I will try to be a blessing to others as I have been blessed by the Lord.

I have faced so many challenges in my life as an overseas Filipino worker. Being away from my family and my unfortunate employer led me to stressful situations that made me feel mentally and emotionally drained. With my strong faith, I offered everything to God. My ability to pray and my life experiences gave me the courage to be God’s witness to others. How my prayers worked and how God answered my prayers is my testimony for others to help them and learn how to be strong in all the difficulties we face in our daily lives. Having a community is such a blessing and I’m so grateful to my Apostleship of Prayer community at St Joseph’s Church for their love, care and concern, which I consider to be the greatest testimony of God to others.

I once suffered from depression. One day I found myself sitting in the park, crying and talking to God about how I couldn’t cope with my problems any more. I did not want to live anymore. Fortunately, God is so good that he sent someone to comfort me in my distress. God sent a person who enlightened me by sharing her words of encouragement until she invited me to join her group where I am now, The Apostleship of Prayer Community, St Joseph Church. It was then that I witnessed God’s love through others.
My life testimony is one thing that I can do as an example to witness Christ to others, that I can share, encourage and let them know how powerful prayer is, how prayer changes our lives despite the trials we face in our daily lives. I share with friends who, like me, have experienced depression, how I have been transformed from my old self to my present outlook on life. This is my way of witnessing Christ to others.

I witness Christ to others by sharing with them the transformation in my life after joining a fellowship. Since I joined the Apostleship of Prayer group. I feel that I have changed. Maybe I have changed because I really want to be close to or serve our Almighty God the Father. I have noticed that I have changed in the way I dress, the way I think and the way I relate to others. I feel God’s presence in me. May I be a mirror of Christ to others through my actions and dealings with them. Actions speak louder than words.

Joining my community is the best way for me to be a witness of Christ to others. Here I live my life with a happy attitude that shows my faith in him.
