Judas betrayed you Lord: forgive us for the times we have betrayed you,
By not standing up for what is right, for fear of ridicule.
Peter denied you Lord: forgive us for the times we have denied you,
By giving into sinful temptations.
Thomas doubted you Lord: forgive us for the times we have doubted you,
By lacking trust in your love and care for us.
Grant us the grace to be faithful at all cost, even to suffer ridicule for your sake.
Grant us the grace to be courageous even when we are tempted to sin.
Grant us the grace to trust in you, in all our trials. Amen.
