For the wonders of your awesome creation
For your infinite wisdom beyond question

In your mercy Lord, you left your heavenly throne
To bear the weight of our sins and transgressions
The price you had to pay was bitter crucifixion
To give us hope and promise of restoration.
The depth of your love is beyond comprehension
As you look upon our frail human condition
You are our refuge in moments of affliction
Our deliverer from the adversary’s oppression.
We lift our hearts in thanksgiving and appreciation
For your bountiful blessings and daily provision
For your divine guidance as we make decisions
And for teaching us your precepts and instructions.
Thus with earnestness we present supplication
Grant us your peace amid life’s tribulation
Help us to be steadfast and to focus our vision
Not on mundane things but on your celestial dominion.
