Living in a foreign land, away from a family
Sometimes I feel sad, empty, and lonely
Yet I thank God for the life that was given to me
Blessedly grateful to wake up every day.
There’s a hollow feeling inside my inner core
I long for the place where I was raised and born
My home and my family, that I’m longing for
To be there is a wish of my aching soul.
I just sat with closed eyes and prayed in silence
To fill this emptiness inside with God’s presence
I asked the merciful Father to exonerate my iniquities
And keep me away from the sinful avarice of this earth.
Oh God our Father you are so wonderful
You always helped me during my struggles
Thank you for making my faith strong with those obstacles
You love me so much and you always save me from downfalls.
Christmas is coming and I have something to do
To forgive those people who hurt me, my Lord
I should not let grudge and hatred control my life
I’ll keep the flame of humbleness living in me ’till I die.
Christmas is coming, it’s the birth of Jesus
Christ my savior, and everyone’s Emmanuel
Born by Mary, in the manger of Bethlehem
Gold, incense, and myrrh were gifts offered by the three kings.
I will set aside my sufferings for a while
I want to enjoy this moment, a joyous time
A perfect moment for sharing and loving
Christmas is here! And it is happening.
