O Lord, we bring to you all those who are resting between time and eternity.
For those who will die today, we ask your mercy and pardon for their sins, and the loving arms of family and friends to embrace them.
For those who are gravely ill and know that their time is short, we ask for peace of mind and soul, the love they need, and freedom from the cares of this world.
For those newly diagnosed with terminal illness, we pray for calmness of spirit, the loving support of those around them, and health professionals who respect them and their inherent dignity.
For those you heal from their infirmities and illness, we pray for a spirit of thanksgiving and renewed strength of faith and trust.
For forgiveness of sin, we ask your mercy O Lord.
For broken relationships, we ask your healing O Lord.
For regrets and past mistakes, we ask your pardon, O Lord.
For lack of faith and trust, we ask your saving grace, O Lord.
For all the good done, we ask your blessing, O Lord.

When they pass from time into eternity, we pray that you will welcome them and that you will temper your divine justice with living mercy, because you have heard our fervent prayers for them, in Jesus’ holy name,
Amen.
