HONG KONG (SE): Bishop Stephen Chow Sau Yan, SJ, blessed the exhibition on the occasion of celebrating the 70th Anniversary of Caritas Hong Kong on May 19 at the Caritas Centre on Caine Road. Father Joseph Yim Tak-lung, chief executive of Caritas, and Father Peter Lo Pak wing, assistant chief executive and Deacon Faustus Lam Sair-ling were among the attendees. The ceremony was also supported by Friends of Caritas and its staff members.
The exhibits are displayed under the colourful designs of the annual wheels of trees, which can represent the historical milestones of Caritas services in the previous decades. The exhibition contains different elements, such as historical photos, animations, virtual reality games, a wishing tree, etc. With the aim of demonstrating Caritas’ unchanged mission which is to “love it in service of hope.”
The exhibition will last for a year and conclude on 19 May 2024 on the 4th floor of Caritas House, Caine Road.
