Trials open opportunities

Trials open opportunities

Life is unfair. That is what we feel every time negativity strikes. We just get tired dealing with life. We feel that what we worked hard for just get in vain as it seems all our efforts and sacrifices did not prosper the way we want and expect. We just get tired with this seemingly endless struggles. There are even times we lose hope and that is the time when all the ugly events of life come rushing and flashing back in our head trying to steal the strength, peace and happiness within us.

Oftentimes we fail to appreciate and see the beautiful things and opportunities offered to us beyond those trials because we are overshadowed by worries and anxieties.

In fact, in tough times it opens opportunities to know the people who stand with us through ups and downs, in laughters or in tears. In our trying times God will show how generous he can be and how his power can move and work in many amazing ways. At times trials draw us closer to God, there is no others who can love and understand us the way he does. He alone can give us the comfort we long for without being judged, no matter how disobedient we may be to him and sinful as we are. He is always willing to stretch his hands out for us and took our shame. We hold no secret as he knows every fiber of us. Yet, God loves us without conditions and reservations.

At times, after the storm of life, it is as if easier to say to start life all over again. But dealing with it is even harder than we think because we need extra strength and courage to come up with our difficult situation. But still we should be thankful for the precious chance to get up each day renewed in God’s faithfulness.

We can keep the spirit alive in us so that despite the many heartbreaks we have been through in life, we can still remember that we are whole and precious in the eyes of God because he mends all
brokenness. Sometimes all we need in the midst of the hustle and bustle of life is to stay calm and patient.

We need not rush things to catch up with what we have missed out. We will just end up anxious and stressful. We just be mindful that God has his own perfect timing.  We may have been so harsh with life. What life asks us is to slow down and just breathe life itself. It helps as it is therapheutic to see that life is beautiful.

Life has never promised to be easy or always comforting. We just need to take the opportunity to live in harmony with all its flaws and imperfections.
