My way of serving God every day starts with prayer, even when I am busy. Prayer is essential in daily life. It can turn worries into worship through faith. Another way is by helping others, especially those in need, in whatever way I can. Serving God with a joyful heart and a motive of being a representative of Jesus is an excellent way of showing love for God.

When we care for the Lord, we do not just serve him whenever we are assigned duty during the Masses. Daily, we serve the Lord by doing good things to others and ourselves. As easy as it may sound, this obligation to serve the Lord daily needs sacrifices. However, sometimes, a simple act of kindness will not hurt. Let us spread positivity and show others the importance of serving the Lord by loving, caring, sharing and being a blessing to others daily.

There are many ways to serve God. For me serving God is a blessing. Every day God’s guidance and presence are blessings, so I give it back through praying and serving in the Church and to the people surrounding me. Praying, including interceding for the needs of others, is also a way of service to the Lord. Bringing people to be close to him is serving God as well. In so doing, I find peace in my heart and soul, giving strength throughout the day.

We can serve God every day by showing kindness, giving smiles, lending a helping hand to those in need, giving good advice to others, loving the unlovable and by prayers, praise and worship. Serving God through all of these adds colour and meaning to our lives. Only then can we find the real purpose of our existence.

There are various ways to serve the Lord every day. One of them is to serve our employers and take care of their children with love and joy in our hearts as if doing it for the Lord. Another way is by helping others, irrespective of their religion or culture, to show that God indeed lives in us.

To help me serve God daily, I pray before doing everything. There are many ways we can serve God in our daily lives. We can serve God through our families. We can be a friend to all, helping other people, sharing our talents, and being an inspiration to other people who have lost their way. Serving God is serving others. So I will help my classmates who ask for help and do the chores my parents ask me to do.

Every day I serve God in small and simple ways through all the most ordinary work I do during the day. As the chief cook at home, I serve my loved ones in the family; thus, I help take care of everybody’s health and well-being. When I water the plants in the garden or tend the fruit trees in the orchard, I help care for God’s creation. When I cooperate in our community’s voluntary works and activities, I exercise my social responsibilities and share my charity values with others. Showing some little acts of kindness by running errands for my elderly neighbours and guiding the youth towards hard work and sportsmanship are some ways of serving other people. These are the small and simple ordinary good deeds I do that manifest my love and service to God.
