The very thing we must do to see God’s will accomplished in our lives is to have a thankful heart and faith in him. When we give thanks amid difficulty, we bring pleasure to God’s heart, and breakthrough begins. Our outlook and our attitude may change. A thankful heart is a loving one that is often filled with gratitude. To learn to be people of appreciative heart, praise, and give thanks to God all the days of our lives are very important.

We should be thankful for what we have. If we do so, we will end up having more. If you concentrate on what we don’t have, we will never, ever have enough. Count the blessing we have, not what we would like to have. When we appreciate what we have, we can cultivate happiness.

Since when I was young, I have learned to appreciate everything in my life. If someone gives me something, whether it’s big or small, I am happy to consider it a blessing from our God. I believe in the magic of saying “thank you” for everything. For me, it means the discipline of counting our blessings, sharing our blessings and being generous to others. A sincere “thank you” coming from the heart is the key that opens the door to instant happiness.

We can have gratitude when we have an appreciative heart. I am grateful first to God for the gift of life to me. I appreciate all that he has given to me. I prayed to God to help me during those times when I was troubled. He answered my prayers, and he gave me friends that helped me through their encouraging words and prayers. I appreciate those who walked the extra mile with me and who gave me their listening ears.

Appreciation for everything that God has done and are still about to do in my life is pleasing to him. I can’t thank and praise the Lord enough for his goodness, for unfailing love for my family and me, and for always guiding, protecting and blessing us abundantly. All glory to God!

We live in a modern world in which material things are easy to have. But whether you agree or not, simple life back then was the happiest for me. I had no money, toys, or gadgets in my childhood, but I felt joy from whatever I had. Even though I do not have any luxury things in daily life, I still remind myself to be thankful and appreciate things that I have, big or small.

I can have an appreciative heart by being contented and never comparing my life to others. I am grateful and being happy for everything I have and being thankful. I always pray and thank God for my family, friends, relatives for the blessings he bestowed upon me and my loved ones. I am happy to have a supportive family, a good, understanding and loving husband who never gives me a headache, a talented and obedient daughter who always makes me proud, real friends here in Hong Kong who accepted me for who I am, a good employer keeping me despite the pandemic. For all these, I am thankful and felt too blessed.
