My prayer for the pandemic to end

My prayer for the pandemic to end

As educators, we encounter extreme changes in teaching the learners in this new normal. I prefer to teach learners face-to-face, to personally monitor their progress and experience various academic and non-academic activities.

I pray for the pandemic to end so that we can go back to our everyday lives. Furthermore, many people are suffering from this Covid-19 virus. Many got sick, if not lost their job which leads to financial problems in the family and affects their living. At this very moment, I wholeheartedly ask God to intervene. May God heal and protect his people!

It is frustrating not being able to go home to the Philippines, being unable to hug my youngest son, unable to be with him for more than two years since the outbreak of the coronavirus. I missed being with my son, especially during special occasions. He caught the Covid-19 virus, and I was not beside him. I lost a sister and a brother and could not go home for their funerals or pay last respects. Then we can see many businesses had to close down, and many were jobless. Many lives were lost due to the pandemic. For two years, we have had difficulties breathing because of the masks. These indeed can be depressing and frustrating. However, as a Christian, I believe there is hope as we know that God loves us and will never ignore or leave us alone. The Lord gives us the strength to carry on with the struggles in life. All we need is to be assiduous in our prayers.

Almighty Father, I pray for the world’s healing. I pray that there will be an end to this pandemic. May you help those in need during these difficult times and keep us safe from all harm. Amen.

This pandemic can be frustrating. Instead of diminishing, it is now easier to spread. Nevertheless, I can be sure that in God’s perfect time and his mercy, he will put an end to this pandemic in his divine intervention. God is in control, I know. More than ever, we should cling more to him. Prayer is the best weapon we have.

I feel the frustration for not being able to go home to be with my children, but on the other hand, I keep the hope that this pandemic will come to an end. I believe in God’s mercy and his powerful healing. I pray to God to give us the emotional strength and that the travelling restrictions will be lifted so that we can go home with no more health threats and bond again with our family, and that there will be an effective solution to overcome this virus.

Loving Father, help us to come out from this pandemic. Help us to open our minds and hearts with love. Please give us more strength and power to fight against this virus. I pray, Lord, for all the front-liners. Protect them, Lord, so that they may continue to serve those in need. I pray for your healing touch upon all those inflicted with the virus, especially the elderly. Comfort for those who lost their loved ones. During these moments of trials, may we continue to stand firm in our faith and hope.

I believe God is in control. He allows all things to happen for a purpose. For me, God can be sending us a message through this pandemic. He asks us to slow down with our busy lives and focus more on the spiritual life that most of us have taken for granted. Above all, we need to have faith that this pandemic will end.
