The journey of life has been very tough lately when another close family member is suffering from breast cancer. Life once more has dragged our family down. The struggle is real. The cross is just too heavy to carry as pain is tormenting both the patient and the family as we witness her struggles. It breaks our hearts to see loved ones suffering in great pain. In fact, the chance of cure is very small because the cancer is already in a serious stage.
But we believe in God and that his miracles do exist. We do everything we can to help at least to alleviate the pain as we give the love, care and support that she needs and let God do the rest for her.
She face the bravest all her ordeals to show us the strongest side of her. She already suffered a lot previou sly from some other health issues and currently the killing disease. Despite all these, she tries to keep her pain from us so we will not worry about her. Though we feel a deep sadness inside we try to stay strong for her. We beg for God’s grace to help and give us extra strength and strengthen our faith to get through this trial. Human as we are we get tired and weary in these few years. We have not yet recovered from our previous pains and here comes another.
But as I always say, no matter how hard and painful life might be, we have no right to question God. His ways may be hard to understand but we need to just give full trust to his holy will and plan.
If we are given a chance to choose I am sure nobody would like to suffer or choose to face trials or carry our cross. But since carrying the cross is part of human life, we are challenged like Jesus to embrace and carry it daily. Life has no glory without the cross which made us united with Jesus’ sufferings.
Jesus’ cross is a sign of hope in our lowest and light in our darkest. Through the Cross of Jesus we have received the most beautiful gift of salvation and redeemed from eternal condemnation. By the stripe of his wounds we are healed. Thank you Lord Jesus for your undying love for us.
