New provincial council for Canossian Sisters

HONG KONG (SE): The mother general of the Daughters of Charity of the Canossian Institute, Sister Anna Maria Babbini, announced the new Provincial Council for the Hong Kong and Macau Province, to serve from 2021 to 2024, on February 15 in Rome.

Members of the new council are: provincial superior, Sister Virginia Wong Pui-ling; vice-provincial, Sister Louise Lam Yuk-sin; and councillors, Sister Lucia Cheung Ching-han and Sister Rita Chung Sau-kuen.

The installation ceremony took place on the afternoon of February 20, with a paraliturgy at the Canossian Missions, Caine Road.

The Canossian Sisters of the Hong Kong and Macau Province wish to express their sincere thanks to outgoing provincial superior, Sister Regina But, and provincial councillor, Sister Virginia Ip, who will continue to serve in the various ministries to make Jesus known and loved.
