Inside a sick mind
What can you find?
A lot of knots, question marks
Scribbles, some numbers.
Inside is a chaotic world
Where one could hardly utter a word.
Where saying even just a single statement
May trigger an embarassment.
However
One couldn’t be like this forever
Just allow your thoughts to flow
Yet get hold of it tightly as “off” it may go.
Things come in stages
Soon you will understand
As things get settled
Nothing may no longer seem out of hand
As you grow
Little you may know
That deep inside of you
Is a soul searching for some glow
While you are ill
Staying in bed against your will
Could somehow unwind
Those knots in your mind
Rest, not just a bit
But make the most of it
For somehow it makes it easier for you
To organise that head of yours in a day or two.
As you recuperate
It is time to cooperate
With your loved ones who just wait
For you to ask, don’t hesitate.

The numbers on your mind
How can they find?
When they see you thinking deeply
Asking you may seem uneasy
But please
Please let some things be
You don’t need to worry
On everything that you see
As you recover
Slowly you get to stand
Walk towards the sunshine
Wear a smile and start waving your hand
Now people can see
That you are ready
For a new beginning
For life is worth
