Life is never the same

Life is never the same

Life is never the same again. It seems that life gets more and more difficult each day as up until now we are still battling with the coronavirus disease. We already have suffered a lot. Many lives are being sacrificed. The mental health of the people are at stake. We deal with our fears and worries each day as every day there are new cases recorded.

We know we did everything we could to help stop the transmission of the disease. That is why we have this so-called new normal situation and guidelines to follow and observe.

Wearing mask is always a must whenever we go out in public places. Senior citizens and young children especially those people suffering from respiratory or pulmonary problem are advised to stay home if there is nothing important to do outside because they are vulnerable to the virus.

We observe physical distancing and proper washing of hands and the use of sanitisers. We felt a bit of discomfort at first but are used to it that way day by day. As long as we follow the protocols of the government and the Department of Health, we can sooner or later surpass this great challenge by the help and mercy of God.

In times of emotional, financial and economic struggles, we are not forgotten nor abandoned by God. We are thankful for the food packs and financial aid from the government, private institutions and individuals who have shown generosity and compassion in this time of great distress. Indeed, it was of big help in the present crisis. The spirit of giving and caring is always alive in the hearts of many Filipinos. We just help and console one another.

This pandemic is never a reason to lose faith or steal our freedom, peace and happiness. We still need to enjoy life in this amazing world.

The sun never forgets to rise every morning so we can always see and walk with the good side of life. Why then worry for the morning to come when we know God is with us? In this time of pandemic, faith is everything.
