What is this Covid-19 that has shaken the whole world in fear and chaos? The virus spread all over the world in just a couple of months. It excuses no country, race, colour, religion, age or gender. Rich or poor are all affected. It has even paralysed the lives of many people who are left stranded at home. We all somehow become victims of this widespread pandemic.
The virus took many lives rapidly and we continue to pray for all those struggling for their speedy recovery.
There are many things happening that we cannot understand. Covid-19 is one of the kind of all human sufferings. It has created many stories about love and hate, struggle and survival and life and death.
As citizens of our country, the least that we can do to help is follow the advice of the government and the Department of Health observing enhanced community quarantine, social distancing, wearing masks, proper washing of hands and observe the curfew hour.
Many people lost their jobs as almost everything is locked down. Here, poverty and hunger threaten human existence. But I strongly believe that there is no room for hunger if the spirit of solitude and compassion and a little act of kindness and charity is in the heart of every person.
We can see even the most advanced and powerful countries have recorded number of mortalities that we least expect and do not like to see.
From there we realise no nation is superior to another, no man is above another as we have been tested equally.
Medical staff and frontliners play a crucial role fighting the invisible enemy. We pray that they may be protected as they take care of the sick, leaving home and children to serve those in need. We also pray for the medical experts that they may find cure for this deadly virus the soonest.
We all continue to fight the scariest and bravest fight without seeing where the enemy is. Though it was not a fair fight at all but we believe that God bears with us and we will win this battle of life.

A clear message of God behind Covid-19 is the conversion of the world from people’s wicked ways. May sickness, fear, tiredness be restored to health, hope and strength of the Lord.
We pray that may all those called ahead of us find eternal rest and peace in God’s kingdom.
Let’s pray for God’s divine intervention to stop the spreading of the virus and heal our land.
