VATICAN (SE): Pope Francis has named Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle, the archbishop of Manila, the new Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples, Vatican News reported on December 8.
The current prefect, Fernando Cardinal Filoni, assumes the post of Grand Master of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre in place of Edwin Cardinal Frederick O’Brien, who resigned in April 2019 as he turned 80.
