‘Amen, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.’ (Luke 23:43)
As we celebrate the Solemnity of Christ the King we honour him as saviour who teaches us to share his love through the Gospel in our daily life’s encounter.
Now the world is full of hatred, violence and fear. Around us it seems that we can’t find love anymore. But in fact life is full of grace from God if we can remember his goodness.
This season is about us and how we follow Jesus. If we open our hearts as well as our eyes we will see Christ the King in everyone we meet.
Jesus is our Saviour and King, we are also his brothers and sisters. All of us, poor or rich, are equal in God’s eyes. The most important thing is how we accept God’s love and share it to others.
We may need to ask forgiveness from God if we have done wrong and ask forgiveness from others if we know we hurt them. This can be a start to have a good heart.
Jesus leads us, teaches us, helps us and loves us. May we keep this love to have a happy and joyful life.
