HONG KONG (SE): Filmcass Hong Kong organised a cancer awareness day at the Canossian Missions on Caine Road on November 3.
Guest speaker Michael Manio encouraged those present that cancer is just a reminder that life is really precious and it is important for them to smile even among the trials. As a doctor, he then talked about the risk factors and treatment for cervical cancer which many women have little knowledge about.
People then prayed for cancer patients and survivors for their healings and faith in God.
Sister Corazon Demetillo as well as consulate officials attended the meeting to show their support for cancer patients.
The programme ended with a Mass celebrated by Father Jay Flandez.
