HONG KONG (SE): The Chrism Mass was celebrated on April 2, in a packed Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Holy Thursday, by Cardinal Stephen Chow, S.J, bishop of Hong Kong, with Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Ha Chi-shing; together with bishops emeriti, Joseph Cardinal Zen Ze-kiun and John Cardinal Tong Hon, and priests of the diocese.
Cardinal Stephen reminded the clergy—200 priest and 30 deacons—that they are ordained to be Christ’s partners in mission, to help people experience the reality and benevolence of God, in cooperation with the prompting of the Holy Spirit, who speaks to us individually and in communion with one another.
