My saving grace

I was once a lost sheep
The Lord found me and put me in his keep
His care and love is my greatest gift
Saving me from sins adrift. 

In the Holy Spirit’s guidance I’ve found my way
I’ve learned to give my devotion everyday
In worship I am happy and gay
Expectant to hear what the Lord will say. 

In God’s will and words I trust
To carry on my duty to the Lord I must
I do not want to go back in my past
Faith in God helps me to move on at last. 

I had my Saving Grace
I was able to save my face
Truly God is the Saviour of the human race
In his will and mercy we are blest.
