This is an acrylic painting by self-taught artist, Marilyn Lopez, president of Guhit Kulay (Stroke of Colour), a group for Filipino migrant artists based in Hong Kong.
Depicting an old lady holding a rosary, Lopez made the painting last year to show the suffering of people in the pandemic. She used glow paint for the rosary, showing the importance of faith in the dark.
