In accordance with a clarification of the Government just made public today (February 10), during the period February 10 – 23, no church may hold a wedding (wedding Mass included) with the number of participants exceeding the statutory required attendance for marriage (totally 5, i.e. the officiating minister, the parties and 2 witnesses) under the Marriage Ordinance (Cap. 181).
As for funerals, they may be held during the above-mentioned period, and there is no restriction on the number of participants.
