When I am lost and hopeless,
When I can’t carry the heavy burden I’m bearing;
When there’s no one to help and comfort me,
I feel your presence touching my face.
In loneliness, I close my eyes and I call you.
Lord God, I surrender it all!
I know only Lord God can fill this hunger inside.
I’ve shed so many tears; my heart feels shattered.
I’ve attempted to piece it back together,
But now I realise that only you can truly heal it.
If I give everything to you, including my soul,
I believe you can help me through my struggles.
In my moments of weakness,
I will reach out to you.
Here I am, Lord, please transform me.
Make me compassionate and understanding.
Give me a fair and not judgmental mind.
Help me to listen and not be carried away by my emotions.
Help me to be calm in every situation.
I surrender!
