As creatures befall on the open night
When shadows stroll and silence a delight
My quiet flame continuous to fight
Despite each fear, I uphold my light.
I stand alone on the darkest skies,
Stretched by sorrow and deceitful lies
Empowering a heavy heart I keep inside.
Yet I dare not to be defined by what I hide.
Just like the breeze my confusion grows,
Blinded, fooled and pulled a low.
Even under a hopeful path, I may drive astray
Still, my strength shines the brightest to find a way.
